Kingston graduate wins Propaganda design competition

Kingston graduate Olivia Twaites‘ ‘Shred Heads’ has won the British Library and Arts Thread’s Propaganda design competition, which was open to students, graduates or industry professionals of three years or less.

Responding to a brief that asked designers to create a design, short film or illustration to influence the British public to change their attitudes towards their health, Olivia’s posters reflect on the issue of depression in the workplace. She wins £1500 cash plus a press and promotion package.

The competition was staged to mark the British Library’s Propaganda: Power and Persuasion exhibition, which runs until 17 September.
