Kingston University is pleased to announce the Bloomsbury Publishing Scholarship, a £10,000 award available to students starting an MA Publishing course at Kingston University in 2015/16.

The scholarship honours the strong relationship between Kingston’s MA Publishing course and Bloomsbury Publishing, which provides support and opportunities to students through its placement programme. Many Kingston MA Publishing students undertake placements within Bloomsbury and some also gain paid work experience in the company. This enables aspiring publishers to build their knowledge, skills and confidence as well as boosting their career prospects. Four of Kingston’s MA Publishing alumni have now secured permanent positions in the company.

“The Bloomsbury name is an ideal descriptor for our new postgraduate scholarship. In addition to providing numerous opportunities for students to develop their professional skills and networks, Bloomsbury’s broad publishing portfolio, international reach and energetic growth mirror Kingston’s dynamic, future-focused course and our highly-international student body.”
