Baroness Gail Rebuck receives an honorary doctorate for her contribution publishing and the promotion of literacy

At the first summer graduation Kingston was proud to award Doctor of Letters to Baroness Gail Rebuck, chair of Penguin Random House UK. Rebuck has been a major figure in promoting the development of literacy, seeing it as the passport to a worthwhile and happy life. The Baroness gave an inspiring acceptance speech, commenting on Kingston’s excellent publishing course. Gail Rebuck was interviewed by Alison Baverstock (pictured right below with Deputy Vice Chancellor Martyn Jones) in the 2015 Kingston Publishing Masterclass series. We look forward to welcoming back to speak to our students in the future.
