Judith Watts began her publishing career working for Blackwell Publishers and Booksellers in the late 1980s, before moving to Routledge, where she spent several years in marketing management building campaigns and teams across a range of academic disciplines. She has since freelanced as a marketing, editorial and author services specialist, and is currently Co-Director of Kingston University Press.
A published poet and author of Hodder’s Teach Yourself Get Started in Writing Erotic Fiction, Judith has an MFA in creative writing and contributes to the activities of the Kingston Writing School.
Judith leads the Work Placement, Networking and Career Planning module and the Content Development and Production Module on the Kingston Publishing Masters. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is currently researching her PhD on Mills & Boon and Desire in the British Printing and Publishing Archives at the University of Reading.
